General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
The new GDPR rules come in to place on 25th May 2018. The Midland CKCS Cub have updated their Privacy Policy on their website.
As a member of our society your details are maintained on our secure password protected system. No data is stored outside the UK. No data is collected for external marketing purposes or released to third parties.
Under the new regulations the Society has defined the lawful basis of processing your details as being contractual and therefore we will continue to maintain your details in accordance with the GDPR.
Data is stored for as long as you wish your membership to remain valid, you are able to cease your membership at any time by informing the treasurer of the society (mckcs.treasurer@gmail.com)
If we do not hear from you we will assume that you are happy for us to continue to hold your details on file. Members should know they are able to ask for their details to be removed permanently at any time.
